You're greeted by mysterious scents of wild berries and tropical fruits. Gooseberries, raspberries, strawberries, flowers, papaya and cloves vibrate in abundance, accompanied by the smoky scent of the finest sandals and cocoa beans.
The first sip shines with astonishing ripeness and balance, offering a rancio sensation usually found only in older casks. The feverish sweetness of wild berries mingles with tropical fruit and leads to an interminable, bittersweet finish.

From a secret distillery, this Cutxan is located in Bas Armagnac, a sub-region of Armagnac renowned for its sandy soils and unique climatic conditions. The estate lies near the hamlet of Cutxan, in the commune of Cazaubon, where wind and tranquility characterize the landscape. Typical grape varieties used include Ugni blanc and Baco, with Armagnac production offering rich, evolving flavors.
“Grape of the Art” (GotA) is a project that showcases exceptional Armagnacs and Cognacs, bottled in single casks and without reduction, to satisfy rum and whisky lovers. The concept was born of a group of enthusiasts in Stuttgart who, after discovering the quality and diversity of Armagnacs, decided to devote themselves to this French eau-de-vie. Their aim is to reveal the hidden treasures of small producers by selecting rare, unaltered casks.
