Guillaume Drouin represents the third generation of Christian Drouin, a Calvados producer since 1960. He is also an oenologist and agricultural engineer. Swell de Spirits was created in 2021 by Michael Barbaria. His bottlings are the result of a meticulous selection of exceptional barrels in collaboration with each producer, to which he pays tribute by successfully captivating the most discerning taste buds of enlightened connoisseurs. Its bottles, with designs as original as the liquid they contain, make Swell de Spirits a key player on the independent scene.

Mars whisky can be produced in two different ways: one by the Shinshu distillery, with its light, elegant style, and the other by the Tsunuki distillery, with its heavier, more robust style. There is, however, a third version in which the whisky produced by the Shinshu and Tsunuki distilleries is not aged on site, but on the island of Yakushima, with its humid subtropical climate. Mars whisky is then labelled Y.A (Yakushima Ageing).

All single malts from the Shinshu distillery are bottled under the name Mars Komagatake, whose cask, here, was selected by Swell de Spirits to refine this calvados, bringing fragrant, elegant notes and a fuller body to Guillaume Drouin's already floral, balanced spirit.
