Nestled in the heart of the prestigious Cognac region, the Cabanne family has been perpetuating an exceptional winegrowing heritage for several generations. Distillation, the crucial step in their process, is carried out in traditional Charentais copper stills. Slow, controlled double distillation produces pure, refined eaux-de-vie. Each batch is then aged in Limousin and Tronçais oak barrels, whose tannin-rich wood gives the cognacs their structure and complex aromas.

The Roots, founded by Joren and Pieter, is a relatively new independent bottler on the spirits scene, dedicated to discovering and showcasing the most distinctive and authentic spirits. These enthusiasts strive to reveal hidden distillery treasures, offering unique bottlings with enchanting, fairy-tale packaging. With limited production, The Roots makes no compromises: Quality always takes over quantity!

Like all "The Roots" productions, this Cognac is non chillfiltered and natural in color. Being able to taste a Cognac of such an age and quality is a privilege that would not leave lovers of beautiful and good bottles indifferent. Only 100 bottles produced.
